Oplæs is an iPhone app by Peter Theill. Contact: support@oplaes.theill.com

On your device

Texts, books and your reading position are stored in the app’s local storage on your iPhone. Speech is generated on the phone, and Oplæs never sends your texts to a server.

Web pages are fetched only when you share them to Oplæs. The camera is used only when you photograph a page. Extra voices download from a file server; that request contains only technical information such as IP address and app version. Deleting the app removes its local data.

No account or tracking

Oplæs has no account, advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs.

Support emails

If you contact support, the information you choose to send is used to answer you. Your email is handled by our email providers. Contact us if you want your correspondence deleted.

This website

Cloudflare hosts and protects this website and processes technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information and requested pages, to deliver and secure it. This site has no advertising, analytics scripts, contact forms or tracking pixels. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
